Allegheny continues to enhance network connectivity for our users. As wireless connectivity has become more widely used printing capabilities have been added for wireless users. You can now print from your personal computer while connected to the Allegheny network using a wireless connection. The tutorial below will help you set up your computer to be able to print via wireless to the printers in Pelletier and in Caflisch

Instructions for Configuring Your Computer for a Wireless Printer

In the Control Panel, open Printers and Faxes.
Select Add a Printer.
Select the radial button "Local Printer attached to this computer" and uncheck "Automatically detect".
Create a new port by selecting "Standard TCP/IP Port."
Set the IP Address to one from the list below.
Select the Generic Network Card.
Select the manufacturer HP and the printers HP LaserJet 4000 Series PCL6.
The driver will install. If previously installed select "Keep existing driver."
Enter printer name (refer to table).
Select the default printer preference.
Select No for a test page.
Click Finish to close wizard.
