Turn off Page and Tool Wizards

A feature of WebCT 4.0 is the inclusion of Add Page or Tool Wizards that guide instructors in adding the more commonly used tools. By default all new courses have the wizards turned on. If you are comfortable with WebCT and would like to turn off the wizards you can do so through the following steps.

A - Open the control panel

B - The Control Panel appears

click Add Page or Tool

C - The Add Page or Tool page appears

By default the Use a wizard when available option is checked.

Uncheck the Checkbox to turn off wizards

D - The Add Page or Tool page reloads with the wizards deactivated

Click on the tool you wish to add and procede to build your course.
