The Question Database can be populated by properly formatted questions imported from a text file. This means if you have exported the question database from previous courses you can save yourself the time of recreating questions by completing the following steps.

A - From the Quizzes/Surveys screen
Click Question Database.
B - The Question Database screen appears.
C - Under Options:Question,
click Import questions from file.
D - The Import From File screen appears.
Click Browse.
E - The File Browser pop-up window appears.
Click Browse
F - The Choose file window opens. Navigate to the proper location and select the desired question set
Click open
G - The filename location will show in the Filename text box
Click Upload File
H - Once the file has uploaded check to make sure the radio button next to it is selected
Click Add selected
I - The Import From File screen appears with the filename in the Filename text box.
Click Import.
J - The Import From File screen updates to display the questions.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and Click Continue.
K - The Question Database screen appears and the questions are added to the specified categories.
You are no ready to add quizzes and populate the quizzes with questions from the question database
