WebCT Quizzes launch in a new browser window automatically. If you use Netscape to access your WebCT quizzes and are unable to begin a quiz your browser is most likely suppressing pop up windows. You can change a few of Netscape's preferences to allow pop up windows from http://webct and http://webct.allegheny.edu which will allow you to access your quizzes.
Note: Firefox and other browsers have similar pop-up blocking features similar to Netscape that impede the ability to take a quiz in WebCT. Learn more about setting Firefox, Safari and Google Toolbar and allow WebCT pop-up windows.
A - Open Netscape. Left-click on "Edit" ---> "Preferences..."
B - Double-click on "Privacy & Security". Then click on "Popup Window Controls" then "Exceptions..."
C - Type "http://webct" in the top box and click "Add". Then type "http://webct.allegheny.edu" and click "Add"
D - Now click "OK". Click "OK" again at the Preferences window.
