How to link slides

There are two ways to link to a slide: Create a Text Link or Create an Action Button.

Creating a text link

To create a text link type the text you want to be a link, where you would like it on the slide. Then highlight it , right click and select Action Settings. (Instead of right clicking you can also go to Slide Show> Action Settings.)

Next you will be prompted about what action you would like the text to do. To link slides have the select the radial button next to Hyperlink to: and then select Slide... from the drop down menu.

Next you will be asked which slide you want to link to. Select the slide you would like and click OK.

Next you will the see the Slide Title of the slide you selected appear in the Hyperlink to: box. Click OK.

Now your text will look like a link:


 

Creating an Action Button

To create an Action Button go to the slide you would like the link to be on. Then go to Slide Show> Action Buttons

Select the type of button you would like. I chose a custom a button, which is blank. Next you will be prompted about what you would like the button to do. To link slides have the select the radial button next to Hyperlink to: and then select Slide... from the drop down menu.

Next you will be asked which slide you want to link to. Select the slide you would like and click OK.

Next you will the see the Slide Title of the slide you selected appear in the Hyperlink to: box. Click OK.

Now you can edit your button. Drag the button to where you want it on the slide using your mouse. To add text to a custom button Right Click on it, and select Edit Text.

Enter the text you want it to say and then you are done!
