Public Lab Information

Logging on to Lab Computers

  • Press: Ctrl + Alt + Delete
  • Type in your User Name, e.g. smithj
  • Password: Type in your allegheny password.

    • *Remember to save your work to your network account or a personal storage device before logging of the computer.

    Software, Hours, Location

    All public lab computers have a standard suite of academic software including MS Office, Dreamweaver, SPSS, Mathematica, ChemOffice, and KaleidaGraph. In addition, some labs have specialized software installed. Refer to the chart below for specialized software available in each lab, as well as other lab details. Note: Labs are open at the specified time unless reserved for a class. Please refer to the sheets hanging outside of the labs to see when that lab is free.
