Reading Wordperfect files in Windows using Word

Word is capable of converting and displaying Wordperfect files.. Simply open Word and choose File, Open from the Word menu.

In the Open window, be sure that All Files (*.*) is selected in the Files of Type: box. Browse to the location of the Wordperfect file, select it, and click Open.

The file will be automatically converted and then displayed in Word. You may want to use File, Save as on the Word menu to save the file in Word (.doc) format.
