The projector control panel on the podium contains all the necessary controls to operate the projector.

To raise and lower the projector screen use the switch labeled UP \ DOWN located on the wall.
Press Power On/Off to turn the projector on and off. (The projector may take a few seconds to warm up)
While the projector is on, use the keypad to switch between different displays. A light will appear next to the key of the display that is currently in use. You may refer to the above table for descriptions on the keys in the keypad.
After the computer is on, press the key labeled Podium PC. Audio from the computer will be played through the projector, so use the controls on the projector control panel for turning the volume up or down.
The air mouse may be pointed anywhere to work. To move the mouse pointer on the screen hold the trigger button located on the under-side of the mouse.
The air mouse will only work on the podium PC.
Make sure the VCR is on. Press the key labeled VCR on the control panel and play the tape.
Make sure the DVD Player is on. Press the key labeled DVD on the control panel and play the DVD.
In order to use the Document Camera, first open the cabinet all the way and then unfold the Document Camera. After you have lifted up both the lights and the video head, turn the Document camera On. The Power Switch is located on the back right side of the Document Camera. Once the Document Camera is on, press the Document Camera button on the Projector Control Panel.
Plug the monitor cable, located behind the computer screen, into your laptop. Press the Laptop key on the podium keypad to display the laptop screen. If there is no image being displayed you can press Fn + F8 on your laptop or just restart your computer. If there is still no image being displayed you may need to adjust the resolution of your computer screen to no higher than 1024 x 768 pixels.
For Audio with your laptop you can also plug in the audio cable, located behind the computer screen, into your laptop. The audio will come from the projector only, so use the projector control panel to change the volume or use your laptops volume control settings.
In order to connect your Laptop to the Allegheny Network, you will have to have a network registration. Plug the network cable into your laptop and open up a web browser. If the network registration page does not initially come up, type http://www.allegheny.edu into the address bar and then follow the instructions on the registration page to connect to Gatornet.
If you would like to temporarily hide an image or screen from being displayed by the projector without turning it off, press the key labeled Hide/Show. A blank screen will be displayed. Press the key again to resume viewing the display.
The volume in this presentation space for the DVD player and VCR are handled through the AudioSource Amplifier. To adjust the Volume use the Volume knob on the bottom right hand of the amplifier.
The Volume for all other equipment in this room is handled through the Projector Control Panel. Use the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons on the right side of the Projector Control Panel to adjust the volume.
