Moving Course Content To Sakai
All faculty that have used WebCT are asked to inform the instructional technologists whether or not they would like assistance migrating content to Sakai.
Faculty can inform instructional technology of their intentions by completing this online form. It will take less than five minutes to complete.

NITLE Sakai Scheduled Outage
NITLE is planning to bring our instance of Sakai down briefly on Friday, 25 April, at 10:00pm Eastern US time. When it comes up again we should be able to "push" email from our instance.

WebCT Access Restored
Access to WebCT classes was restored this morning at 9:00am.
The outage was first reported on Sunday afternoon at 2:45pm. If you experience continued problems reaching the WebCT login page please contact User Services at computing@allegheny.edu.

WebCT Users Invited to Attend Lunch
We would like to invite everyone who has used WebCT in the past or is
currently using it to attend a lunch discussion on EITHER Monday,
February 25, 2008 at noon or Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 12:30 pm.
Both sessions will be held in the Campus Center, Room 301/302 and
lunch will be provided.
The main purpose of this discussion is to tell you more about Sakai,
the new software that will be replacing WebCT beginning Fall 2008,
and to talk about the transition from WebCT to this product.

Access to WebCT Courses Restored.
The systems administrator restored campus access to WebCT Courses. The server went down unexpectedly during routine maintenance about 9:30am this morning after a thorough check of the system WebCT was brought back online about 10:15am.
WebCT Server Down
User Services just learned that the WebCT server is down. The system administrator is currently addressing the problem. As more is known it will be posted on this site.
