alleg.edu Domain Name to Be Retired on October 1, 2007

As of October 1, 2007, the domain name alleg.edu will be retired. This means that no longer will people be able to open a browser and type www.alleg.edu and find the Allegheny web site. This is the final phase of the retirement of the alleg.edu, which was initially announced mid way through the Spring 2007 semester when the alleg.edu email address was discontinued.

If you manage a personal or departmental web site you will need to check your links and update any reference to alleg.edu with allegheny.edu before October 1, 2007.
