Remember to Change Your Password

In March 2009, a new password change policy was started that requires users to change their passwords at least twice a year.

It has been almost six months since the college community was asked to change passwords for the first time to comply with this policy. If you have not changed your password in the last six months, Computing Services would like to remind you to change your password before November 2, 2009.

As we are all busy and might forget when next to change our passwords, Doug Tomer has automated a set of emails to notify users a month before the account will be deactivated. A follow up message will be sent once a week until the password is changed or the account is turned off. Accounts with passwords older than six months will be deactivated on the first Monday of each month starting on November 2, 2009.

Changing your password every six months allows you uninterrupted access to your email, Sakai sites, backup data, and college computers. Should you need assistance using the Password Change Form please contact User Services at 332-2755.
