Transition Update: Google Apps for Education

On June 29, 2009 faculty were invited to volunteer to start using Google Apps for Education (GAE) for their email, calendaring, and collaborating. We hope that providing faculty the option to adopt GAE earlier in the summer will ease the transition for them as they can do it before the semester preparations are in full swing. Faculty can volunteer by completing this online form User Services will be in touch to arrange the necessary details.

Members of the Google Apps implementation team continue to work with administrative offices and employees to schedule their transition as functional units. Approximately a quarter of the employees and all of the students are up and running on GAE at this point.
