A: It can take up to five minutes for your registration to process. If it has been more than five minutes please contact Computing Services in Murray Hall. Q: I registered my computer in my room but when I try to connect to the wireless network I am asked to complete another registration. Do I need to complete that registration form, too? A: Yes, you will need to register your computer on the wireless network. But, you will not need to download Trend Micro's anti-virus software if your have already installed when you registered in your room. Registrations for the wired network in your residence hall room and the wireless network around campus are managed separately. Q: When registering my computer I received an error that starts "POP3 command stat.." what does this mean? A: This error is because you have a problem with either your username or password. Make sure you are using the username and password you use to check your email. If you have forgotten your password or unsure what your username is, come to Murray Hall with your college ID and we can help you. Bring your laptop and we can help you register your computer on the network at the same time. Posted by jfadden at August 26, 2007 10:05 AM | | ||||
