You are encouraged to configure your own computer systems by following the setup procedures outlined here or
in the information available at the Help Desk, 111 Murray Hall. If you are having difficulty in setting up
your system then you may receive help by calling the Help Desk (x2755).
**NEW - all houses are now equipped with wireless access. Users will need to submit a network registration
form at User Services in Murray Hall or use the online form. Once the form is submitted access will be configured. Passwords and WEP keys are no longer required but you will not be able to connect until the computer is registered.
Pick up a "GatorNet Registration Form" from the Help Desk or
register online (You will need to know your adapter address, and the version of your
Operating System when filling out this form)
Drop off the completed "GatorNet Registration Form" at the Help Desk(you do not need to complete
this step if you used the online registration form) There are a large number of registrations taking place at the beginning of each semester so please
allow for a maximum of 48 hours for initial network access. Registrations taking place after 3:00 on Monday - Thursday will be considered as if you registered on the following day. Registrations taking place after 3:00 on Friday
will be considered as if you registered on the following Monday.
